5.6.6 COMMUNICATION
We provide you with two settings: the RS 232 and RS 485.
1. RS-232 SETTING:
You have the option of using an ID code ( any number between
0
and
9999
) or a Baud rate ( at
5 different levels :
1200

2400
,
4800
,
9600
or
19200
).
2. RS-485 SETTING:
The options are:

Use any number between

2. BAUD RATE:
At the rates of

.
3. MASTER CLOCK:

OFF

3. NET SETTING:
This option is used to configure the Ethernet communication settings. This is required for the
purpose of making a network connection. Please consult with a qualified MIS professional to
configure it.
1. DHCP:
Activate
ON
or
OFF.
This option enables or disables the DHCP communication
function. If provided with a DHCP server, the 16CH DVR can get an IP
automatically by setting the DHCP item to ON.
2. IP ADDRESS:
When setting the DHCP item to OFF, the IP
address may be manually
edited.
