2.3.1 Rapid Wave Quartz Flash Settings Window
Flashes without Temperature Sensors (see Head Setup Window)
It is possible to save your two most frequently used curing times, to save time when setting
your flash parameters. Changing the curing time is done by clicking the icon marked with a
symbol.
NOTE: Only one time setting can be active at a time. The currently selected time is marked
with a
symbol.
To change the curing time, press the Heat Time/Dry Time icon. Then a numeric keypad will
open where you can enter the desired time.
The Step Back Dry Time parameter corresponds to the curing time during the Step Back
function. To change the curing time, press the icon labeled Step Back Dry Time. The numeric
keypad will open where you can enter the time.
The Heat Intensity parameter allows you to control the flash output power directly from the
monitor. Keep in mind that the flash power set on the flash control panel by the
potentiometer is the master power.
This means that if you set the power on the flash control panel to 50%, then:
-Setting the power on the press touchscreen to 100% will cause the flash to operate at 50%
power.
-Setting the power on the press touchscreen to 50% will cause the flash to operate at 25%
power.
It is therefore advisable to set the flash master power to 100% (extreme right of the knob).
To change the curing power, press the Heat Intensity icon. Then a numeric keypad will open
where you can enter a power value (0-100%).
