
6. Plast./Water icon – you can choose from two different types of ink: water-based and plastisol.
In the case of water-based ink, after printing the print head will flood the screen to prevent
drying in the screen.
7. Ink color – this function sets the color of the ink on the print head. See: setting the ink color on
the print head.
8. Up/Down/MPT Move – to understand what this button is used for, understand there are two
printing modes. Function off – printing in the fixed position of the table (up). Function enabled
– the table moves up and down, causing the screen to peel off the substrate. This function is
especially useful when working with thick materials.
9. Head control (when applicable)

Front – move carriage forward (away from the center column)
•
Back – move carriage backward (towards the center column)
•
SQ – lower squeegee
•
FL – lower flood bar
•
SQ/FL – change blades
•
SQ/FL – raise blades
10. Index Here function
This is a function to move a shirt to any head. This feature is useful for performing a test print and
correcting mistakes.
10.1 For Index Here to work:
a. The head must be active and turned on (green light)
b. There must be only one shirt on the machine
10.2 Press the Index Here button
10.3 The shirt will come to the selected head
10.4 When the shirt is under the selected head, you can perform test printing by pressing the
test button
11. Squeegee pressure – this function is only available on machines with servo-powered
squeegees. Used to set the pressure of the squeegee on the screen.
12. Hold On/Off button
This function is only available on Volt machines with servo/servo print heads for head setup.
12.1 When the Hold On button is pressed in the head settings window, the message
displayed on the button changes to Hold Off, which means the carriage can be manually
reset.
12.2 Once the carriage has been moved to the selected position, you can re-enable the hold
by pressing the Hold Off button again. The button state will change to Hold On.
