Conflicting Settings
Sometimes settings may conflict with each other. For example: the same Display resolution cannot be set to
1920x1080 and to automatic. In case of conflict, the most recent value is kept and the previous value is
discarded.

Configuration mode
The
Configuration mode
allows the user to configure the directly on the media server using a connected
keyboard. This mode includes all the functionality of
Web configurator
.
To enter the
Configuration mode
:
1.
Make sure a USB Keyboard is connected to the media server.
2.
Start the server and press any key when the startup screen displays.
3.
Use the arrow keys in the start menu to select
Configuration mode
. The Configurator menu is
displayed.
Configurator has three main sections: Server configuration, Display configuration, and Network configuration.
Use arrow keys to navigate menus and use enter to select. Use the
Tab
button to move between different
sections.
