municating with a Central Controller connected to your computer. It also indicates
proper setting and operation of the communications port, baud rate, and cabling.
If the main screen fails to display a *** MASTER PRESENT *** acknowledgement
(Figure 5), there is no communication between IRLIBX and the AXCESS Central Con-
troller. Failure to communicate with the AXCESS Control System keeps you from
programming any IR devices (with the exception of an SX-DCU+ unit).
If you don’t receive the *** MASTER PRESENT *** acknowledgement, check your
communications settings and make sure that the Central Controller is properly con-
nected to your computer. For more information, refer to IRLIBX Menus and Options,

Screen Saver Mode
Menus are selected by pressing the associated
F
–key as shown at the bottom of the
screen. Once you have selected a menu, you can change to another one by pressing
the related F key or by using the scroll right and left keys to scroll through the menu
selections. Figure 6 illustrates the
F
–key and related menu selections. If you don’t
make any keyboard entries for about five minutes, IRLIBX change to its screen-saver
mode. You see the message
IRLIBX Press any key
displayed and move around
the screen. Press any
non-control
key to see the previously selected menu screen.
