After viewing file information, press any key to return to the Choose dialog
box.

Sort the List The hand Control list always sorts the list alphabetically by
manufacturer (first column). A second sort by equipment model number
(default) or hand control model number is also performed. Use the
F2 func-
tion key to alternately re-sort the list alphabetically by hand control name
(middle column), or alphabetically by the model number of the equipment
for the Hand Control (third column).
DCU/IRS Menu and IRIS Menu
The Choose selection box comes up after loading a custom file from disk (with LOAD
FILE), from the IR device functions (with LOAD), or after choosing identify in the
IRIS menu.
1. When the Choose selection box appears, select the Hand Control files you want
to compare against the custom file you loaded or the IRIS function to be identi-
fied (Figure 16). For more information on using custom files, refer to the
Building
an SX-DCU+ Function List section of the Application and Use part in this manual.

The 1
st
letter acts as a hotkey.
For example, an S on the
keyboard will send the screen
listing to the S section. Only
the middle (#2) and right (#3)
columns can be sorted.
Note
This is done because when
the IRLIBX program opens
the custom file, it will load the
custom functions of the file
but not any associated names
to those functions. Comparing
it to other IRL files allows the
program to recognize some of
the functions from other IRLs
and name them. Refer to
Load a Custom File for more
detailed information.
