Press return and continue building your Hand Control function file as indicated
in steps 7 through 10.
After capturing all of the functions with the IRIS unit and storing them with IRLIBX,
press ESC (escape) to end the process for the current Hand Control.

To start another Hand Control function file:
−
Save the current file by pressing the ESC button. This causes IRLIBX to
save the file with an .IRL extension.

Select CAPTURE NEW again.

If you want to add more functions to the current Hand Control list, use the
CAPTURE EXISTING menu option.
Building a Function Description List
Once you have captured the IR functions from your Hand Controls, and built your
Hand Control function library, you can now make selected lists of the IR functions.
Connect an AXCESS card cage or other Panja IR device to your PC’s RS–232 commu-
nication port, and run the IRLIBX program. Use F3 to select the DCU/IRS menu and
choose the MODIFY option to open the modify option window (Figure 20).
These steps for developing and using an IR function description list are as follows:

file, follow the procedures in

Saving a Custom File
subsection. Only use the
Save File option to save cus-
tom files. Capturing
is not
used to save custom files.
