13. TROUBLESHOOTING
The web interface and the front panel interface both report errors that occur in the driver or the
connected loops . On the front panel the errors are displayed in the status menu whilst they are
displayed in the status tab on the web interface . Some errors are detected at start-up only whilst
others may occur when the driver is running .
Below is a list of the start-up error messages and their possible causes:
BLANK EEPROM This error occurs if the internal driver memory has
– INITIALISING: been erased and should only occur at the factory at
first switch on. This error occurs during initial tests
before the web interface is available and so is not
reported on it .
MEMORY CRC FAIL
This error occurs if the internal driver memory has been corrupted .
SETTINGS CORRUPT:
Please contact Ampetronic technical support . This error occurs
during initial tests before the web interface is available and so is
not reported on it. You should check each setting to ensure it has
the required value .
OUTPUT A OPEN
The driver has detected that the loop connected to A out has too
CIRCUIT:
high an impedance .
OUTPUT B OPEN
The driver has detected that the loop connected to B out has too
CIRCUIT:
high an impedance .
HEATSINK TOO HOT
The driver heatsink has reached a critical temperature and the
PLS SWITCH OFF:
driver must be switched off .
The following error messages all indicate an error in the internal circuitry of the driver . Please
contact Ampetronic technical support if any of these errors are seen quoting the error message text .
