4. Drive Belt

Procedures:
1.
If the belt falls off, take apart the right
chain cover and loosen the idler wheel
and resume the belt. Turn the drive
pulley slowly and check the
displacement and the alignment of the
belt, drive pulley and the flywheel.
Then turn the drive pulley with the
speed between 100 and 120 rpm with
sudden stop. If the belt runs normally,
resume all parts, as shown in figure 1.

If the belt, drive pulley and the
flywheel do not align well, adjust the
flywheel to the proper position, as
shown in figure 2.
3.
If the belt slips, refer to the replacing
part of idler wheel assembly and use
13mm wrench to adjust the nut on the
J-bolt as shown in figure 3.
4.
If the drive belt has worn out, replace
it.
