0x07: If the meter also has to be able to receive data (drive-by reading and wireless
configuration of the meter), the module should run in the operating mode T2.
0x08: In the receiving device, which can also configure the meter, the module would
have to run in the operating mode
“T2 other” in order to be able to communicate with the
meter in the operating mode
“T1 meter” or “T2 meter”.
0x09: By this combined mode of operation it is possible to receive both the mode T and
mode C at the same time without the need to switch between the two modes. A reply
telegram is always returned according to the previously received parameters.
0x0A, 0x0B: If data needs to be relayed very often and over a very long distance, then
t
he mode „R2 meter“ or „R2 other“ should be selected.
0x0C, 0x0D: These modes are even more energy efficient than mode T and are
therefore also suited for frequently transmitting walk-by applications.
0x0E: This mode is used for the reception of mode C1-meters and mode C2-meters.
0x0F: For quick toggling between the operating modes,
the mode “pin select” should be
selected. See chapter 9.
8.37 Net_Mode
Only the value 0x00 may be used.
8.38 Config_CRC_Disable
By means of this parameter, the checksum control can be disabled when transmitting
commands in the configuration mode. If the value of the parameter is 0x00h, the checksum will
be taken into consideration, otherwise, the command will be handled without the checksum
being checked.
Value Description
0x00
CRC required
0x01
CRC will be ignored
Table 18:
Parameter Config_CRC_Disable
The default value for this parameter is 0x00.
8.39 CFG-Flags
This 2 byte large parameter provides the ability to carry out different configurations. It serves
e.g. to activate various pin functions. All pin functions are disabled in the factory setting, so that
the normal pin configuration is compatible with previous modules. For a description of the flags,
see Table 19.
During the configuration of this parameter it is important to ensure that the LSB is always
transmitted first.
All settings will only take effect after a hardware reset of the module!
