15. Entering reject limits
Navigate to the manual test menu for one of the heads to help set reject
limits for test 1 and test 2
16. Perform a Manual Test and
enter % values
Ranges:
Minimum test 1 percent
&
Maximum test 1 percent
Range: -75 to 75%
Min: .5 to 75 %
Minimum test 2 percent
&
Maximum test 2 percent
Range: -75 to 75%
A. Place a known good container underneath a test probe and perform a
Manual Test
. If there was a good seal then then the test probe will stay
engaged for the Test 1 and Test 2 times.
B. Take notice of the Test 1 and 2 result gauges. Set the Max percentage
approximately 10 percentage points above the maximum values reported
on the gauges for both Test 1 and if Test 2. (If Test 2 is being used).
C. Check for consistency by performing several
Manual Tests
to ensure
the percentage readings fall within the ranges entered.
17. Perfom a Manual Self Test
Performing a
Manual Self Test
on the same known good container. This will
open a leak path to the installed orifices.
A. Take notice of the Test 1 and 2 result gauges again. This time they
should be well above (approximately 10 percent points) the acceptable
limits. If this is not the case the orifice maybe too small for the test
settings or the test setting and speed may need to be reconsidered.
B. Check for consistency by performing several
Manual Self Tests
. Doing
this will ensure the test settings are accurate.
