Settings Introduction
The leak tests performed by the SpeedGlider depend on the proper settings of the Test Timers, Pressures, and
Reject Limits. The Settings Menu is where all the perimeters for the required leak test as well as machine speeds
and timing can be viewed and edited.
Test Pressures & Reject Limits Introduction
These Menus contain the time values and perimeters
required to perform leak tests on the SpeedGlider.
Adjustments to test setting values are done in these
menus.

Setting
Description
Fill Time
Range: .01 to 10
seconds
When the start fill time pressure” is reached the “Fill Time” begins to count when the fill
time reaches the value entered expires the fill valve will off.
Maximum fill time
Range: .02 to 15
seconds
Time allowed for the “start fill time pressure: to reach the pressure entered. The container
will be rejected for a “Max Fill Failure” if the pressure does not reach the required amount
in the time given. The normal setting is approximately .150 seconds.
Test 1 Time
Range: .005 to 10
seconds
Time allowed for test 1 container stabilization time. The normal setting for test 1 is around
.1 seconds for smaller container and .2 for larger more flexible containers. The test 1 time
works in conjunction with the reject limits settings for Minimum test 1 percent and
Maximum test 1 percent. If the container falls out of the window range set of min and max
set in the reject limits for test 1 in the test 1 time frame the container will be rejected
Test 2 Time
Range: 0 to 20
seconds
Time allowed for test 2 small hole detection. The time set here should always be as long
as possible. To set properly set the time high enough to get “test to long” alarms and then
back down incrementally until Alarm ceases. The test 2 time works in conjunction with the
reject limits settings for Minimum test 2 percent and Maximum test 2 percent. If the
container falls out of the window range set of min and max set in the reject limits for test 2
in the test 2 time frame the container will be rejected
