About Crossover

Crossover (X-Over):
This Media Player is equipped with an active crossover frequency device, which can limit the frequency reaching
each output channel. Each channel can be controlled independently. Therefore, each pair of loudspeakers can be
driven at a frequency optimally designed for each channel.
The crossover can adjust the HPF (high pass filter) or LPF (low pass filter) of each band, and the slope (the speed of
the filter to the high or low point).
It should be adjusted according to the reproduction characteristics of the speakers. Depending on the speaker, a
passive network may not be required. If you are unsure about this, please consult your authorized Alpine dealer.
