Chapter 2: Placement in the Network
The NetEnforcer is normally placed on the internal side of your access router. The
Internal port of the NetEnforcer interfaces with your Local Area Network (LAN) and
the External port of the NetEnforcer interfaces with your access router.
To connect NetEnforcer to your network:
1.
Connect the Bypass Unit to NetEnforcer, as described in
Bypass Units
,
page 1-16.
2.
Connect the LAN side of your network to the Internal connector of each link on the
front panel of the Bypass Unit.
3.
Connect the cable connected to the WAN side of your network to the External
connector of each link on the front panel of the Bypass Unit.

4.
Power up NetEnforcer. Refer to
Powering Up
