Section 5 Service Procedures
To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, explosion, serious injury or death:
• Disconnect electric power to the tumbler before servicing.
• Close gas shut-off valve to gas tumbler before servicing.
• Close steam valve to steam tumbler before servicing.
• Never start the tumbler with any guards/panels removed.
• Whenever ground wires are removed during servicing, these ground wires must be
reconnected to ensure that the tumbler is properly grounded.

46. FAN MOTOR ASSEMBLY
STACKED TUMBLE DRYER
a. Remove cabinet limit cover and harness. Refer
.
b. Unscrew thermistor.
NOTE: Do not turn thermistor by spade terminals.
IMPORTANT: Before attempting to service fan,
always remove thermistor to prevent damage.
c. Disconnect wire harness to fan motor.
d. Remove ten screws holding fan motor
assembly to blower housing. Refer to
.
e. Tilt fan motor forward until it clears stove.
f. Remove palnut and jamnut holding fan to
motor shaft and remove fan from motor shaft.
g. Remove four bolts holding fan motor to
mounting plate and remove motor.
