the chosen device was a 1770-KFD RS232 Interface.)
Adding I/O Modules to Your Network
After you add the communication device, you must add the POINT
I/O modules connected to the scanner on the PointBus.

Add modules as shown below. .
The out-of-the-box node setting for 1734 modules is 63. You can
change the setting by using the node commissioning tool. The node
commissioning tool is available either online or offline.

Double-click here to choose
the scanner. You can also
click and drag the scanner
name onto the network.
Make sure you choose the
1734-ADN Point I/O Scanner.
The scanner appears
on the network.
IMPORTANT
The scanner must always exist on the DeviceNet
network at Node 00.
