Configuring Your I/O
Configure your I/O modules and use the aliasing capabilities of the RSLogix 5000 software to alias the tags
you have already created in your ladder logic to module tags.
Configuring the Discrete Output Module
Add the discrete output module in slot 0 of the I/O Configuration list.
1. From the
Controller Organizer
, right click on the
I/O Configuration
folder and choose
New Module
.
The Select Module Type dialog appears, with a list of available modules. Click on the down arrow on
the lower right side of the dialog to scroll down through the list of modules to the 1756-OB16E module.
2. Double click on the
1756-OB16E
module.
The Module Properties dialog appears.
