Application

Perform the following steps to create the example application:

Start

RSLogix5000

. The RSLogix 5000 Main Window will open.

From the

File

menu, select

New

The

New Controller

pop-up window will open.

Enter an appropriate name for the Controller, e.g.,
“Ethernet_IO_Controller.”

Select the correct

Chassis Type

and

Slot

number of the Logix5550

controller, and the folder where you want to save the RSLogix 5000
file (
