MAINTENANCE FOR ALL SINGLE VENTURI MIXERS USING A PRESSURE SWITCH FOR CONTROL
1. No additional maintenance is required for single venturi mixers using a
pressure switch.
2. Replacing the pressure switch.
a. Turn off all power to the explosion proof control box at the main feed
disconnect.
b. Open the explosion proof control box and disconnect the wires from
the pressure switch.
c. Remove the pressure switch from the explosion proof box, being
careful to use two wrenches so that the neck is turned and not the
body.
d. Replace the switch and connect per schematic.
e. Close the explosion proof box.
f. Turn on the power at the main feed disconnect.
g. Adjust the system output pressures as described in
Section 4

MAINTENANCE FOR ALL MIXERS USING THE SEQUENCER
WARNING
The
SEQUENCER
is mounted in an explosion proof control
enclosure. If the enclosure is opened for testing or for adjusting, be
sure that no LPG vapor is present around the enclosure. The
electrical arcing that occurs when the switches and relays within
the enclosure operate is a possible source of explosive ignition.
NOTE
Whenever any component or fitting in the system is removed and
replaced or reinstalled, the complete system must be leak tested with a
soap solution at the system’s working pressure.
