4. Operation
WARNING
The equipment described in this manual is designed to operate with
LP-gas, a flammable fuel under pressure. The nature of the
application involves inherent hazards that could result in injury.
ONLY a trained and fully qualified person should service this
equipment.
CAUTION
LPG is explosive and extremely flammable. Appropriate safety
procedures must be observed when installing and operating the
system.
WARNING
The relays that powers the solenoid valves produces sparks which
may ignite any LPG vapors in the area when the control box cover
is removed. If the cover must be removed, shut off the power,
remove the cover and check very carefully for LPG fumes, leaks, or
any indication of LPG in the atmosphere.
Do not re-apply power if LPG fumes are present. They may ignite.
Keep a fire extinguisher available in the immediate vicinity before
re-applying power when the control cover is removed.
Operation of VAPORAIRE and VAPORAIRE M-Series mixers is identical. The
SEQUENCER
is used to control mixers with 2 to 10 venturis, (See Figure 7).
For mixer requiring more than 8 venturis, an additional output card is required
that will operate the same, except with more venturis. For single venturi mixers,
a single pressure switch is used for the control of the venturi.
