4. Open the surge/accumulator tank outlet and establish the flow to keep the
venturis cycling at 50% on, 50% off.
5. Adjust the mixture by varying the venturi motive pressure
( Refer to the motive pressure adjustment)
.
6. After the selected venturi is adjusted, close the isolation valve and open the
isolation valve of the next venturi to be adjusted.
Continue this process until all the venturis are producing the correct mixture.
7. When all venturis are adjusted, press the
STOP
button, turn off power:
Exit
SETUP MODE
by removing jumper between orange terminal
B3 to terminal 4

or press the
START
and
STOP
buttons simultaneously
. Re-start the mixer, open
all the isolation valves and test for proper operation.
ADJUSTING THE HEATING VALUE OF THE MIXED GAS WITH A SINGLE REGULATING STATION
CAUTION
Shut off the power at the disconnect before installing the jumper
between orange terminal B3 to terminal 4, (24VDC)
1. Close all the venturi isolation valves.
2. Jumper orange terminal B3 to terminal 4 then press the
START
switch;
or press the
START
and
STOP
buttons simultaneously.
3. Close the shutoff valve on the pilot supply line to the pilot operator.
4. Open the shutoff valve on one of the venturis. The mixed pressure should
increase to the setpoint and the venturi will shut down.
5. Open the surge/accumulator tank outlet and establish the flow to keep the
venturi cycling at 50% on and 50% off.
6. Set the manifold pressure by adjusting the Fisher 627 by-pass regulator to
1.0 PSI lower than the motive pressure listed on the equipment Data Sheet.
(For example: adjust to 34 PSIG when the motive pressure is listed as 35
PSIG.)
7. Open the shutoff valve on the pilot supply line to the pilot operator.
8. Set the manifold pressure by adjusting the pilot operator on the main
regulator. Set to the motive pressure listed on the equipment Data Sheet.
NOTE
Check that the manifold pressure lowers by 1.0 PSI when the
shutoff valve on the pilot supply line to the large regulator is closed
and the venturi is cycling on. Return the shutoff valve on the pilot
supply line to the open position after checking.
9. When the venturis are adjusted, press the
STOP
button. Switch out of
SETUP
MODE
by removing jumper between orange terminal B3 to terminal 4; or press the
START
and
STOP
buttons simultaneously
. Re-start mixer open all the isolation
valves and test for proper operation.
