Note:
Narrow is the standard system in amateur radio for 12.5 kHz channel spacing, while 25 kHz
systems allow Wide parameter settings.
3.7 OFFSET (Activation of repeater shift in amateur radio networks)
Offset means the difference between the receiving and transmitting frequencies for operation via
repeater stations.
Most European 2 m repeaters use a 600 kHz lower frequency in their receivers and re-transmit the
signals 600 kHz higher. On UHF, 1.6 MHz (or 7.6 MHz in Germany) is used as repeater shift.
Set the Offset value mainly according to the using offset of the repeater.

present off set value.
3. Press [UP]or [DOWN] to select offset from 0.0MHz ~ 69.9MHz . If user need to adjust quickly,
you may also change it by keypad.
4. Press [MENU] to confirm storing and return, or press [*/BAND] to exit without changes.
