NOZZLE
The nozzle injects the fuel pumped under pressure by the pump into the combustion
chamber. The fuel, upon striking to the air at a high speed pulverizes into very tiny
particles, this is now capable of vaporizing and mixing with the air.
The amount of fuel sprayed in US gallon per hour at 7 bar and the spray
angles are stamped on the nozzles by the manufacturer, together with the
spray pattern indicated by a symbol (See figure 22).

The amount of fuel sprayed from the nozzle is a function of oil pressure.
