Dropped Frames Stream Behavior
Selects the HELO Plus’s behavior the when one or more input frames are lost due
to error conditions.
Continue -
Streaming continues after dropped frames (factory default).
Stop -
Streaming stops after dropped frames.
Encoder 1, 2 Screens
Two Encoder screens are available, one for each of HELO Plus's internal Encoders.
The two Encoders allow simultaneously creating different encoded signal outputs
for streaming and/or recording. For example, a high quality full frame high bit
rate signal could be created with Encoder 1 for recording, and a half or quarter
frame rate lower bit rate signal could be created with Encoder 2 for streaming.
The settings on each screen are applied independently to only that Encoder's
output.
Both Encoders are available for simultaneous use, with one exception.
NOTE: Only one HELO Plus Encoder is operational when the unit is encoding at higher
than 720p resolution at more than 30fps (50, 59.94, 60) and is using Full frame
rate. In that special case Encoder 2 will be disabled (UI controls unavailable). Both
Encoders are available, however, at Half or Quarter frame rates.
Import Encoder Settings
Encoder templates are available for several commonly used scenarios. Factory
default is 720p High 10 Mbps.
