2.18.1.4 Faults and solutions of running system
Symptom

1. The front tire is worn severely.
1. The front wheel rim or web has
severe distortion.
2. The toe-in fails to be adjusted
properly.
3. The steering knuckle and two oil
cylinder pins are worn severely.
4. The tire pressure is insufficient
during transportation.
5. The front driving axle fails to
separate during transportation.
6. The front driving wheel tread is
installed as per inverse direction.
1. Correct the front wheel rim or
web.
2. Adjust the toe-in.
3. Replace the pin.
4. Check it and charge the tire as
required.
5. Disconnect the front driving axle.
6. Reassemble the tire as required.
2. The front wheels sway.
1. The toe-in fails to be adjusted
properly.
2. The bearing has too large
clearance or is worn severely.
3. The steering king pin is worn
severely.
4. The front wheel rim has severe
distortion.
1. Adjust the toe-in.
