Running the W2642A GUI application
The procedures below describe how to obtain and launch the W2642A GUI.
To access and launch the W2642A GUI:
1. Download the W2642A GUI application from the Agilent web site at:
http://www.agilent.com/find/scope-apps-sw
.
2. Save the zip file on your PC and then unzip it.
3. Double click on the DisplayPortTest.exe file. The W2642A GUI application appears as shown below:
Connecting to the W2642A
The procedures below describe how to connect the W2642A to the W2642A GUI. The host PC will have to be
configured to the specific subnet that the W2642A is set to. As an example: 192.168.254.239. Use the figure
below as a reference for the connection procedures.
To connect to the W2642A:
1. Enable the AUX Channel Controller functionality in the W2642A as described in Chapters 2 or 3
.
2. Select
the
Hardware
tab on the DisplayPort Test Controller and enter the IP address of the W2642A into the
field labeled “Target IP Address”.
3. On
the
Hardware
tab, click on the
Connect
activation button.
