QuickSwap Installation and Startup
Overview
3
Push
Fitting 3
and the restrictor into the lock nut on the MSD transfer line.
The fitting will fit inside the lock nut and onto the MSD transfer line. Rotate
the plate clockwise. When you feel resistance (from
Fitting 3
beginning to
compress the soft metal ferrule), turn the plate about 15–30 degrees more.
This should be enough for a leak-tight seal on the transfer line.
Normal installation takes about three full turns. If QuickSwap seems to stop
after only one to one and a half turns, this usually means that the restrictor
QuickSwap is cross-threaded (not straight). Unscrew QuickSwap, ensure
that the ferrule end of the restrictor is inserted fully into
Fitting 3
, then
screw QuickSwap onto the transfer line.
The installed QuickSwap will resemble

MSD transfer line until after leak test completion.
