The 610-0002 BCR scanner will only work in Stand-alone mode. If you have a
Series 600 BCR then continue with Step 1. If not skip to
“MICROSCAN
SERIES 5000 INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION”
on page 12.

Connect the BCR components
as shown in the diagram. The AC power
connection for the Power Supply is provide at the J Box mounted on the left
rear corner of the AGILENT 5DX Main Cabinet on Series I through Series
2L. AC power outlets are not currently provided on a Series 3 5DX. If the
customer has a Series 3 5DX, a local power supply will have to be accessed.
Connect the DC output power connector to J2 on the ADP-232 unit.
Assemble the BCR as in
