Verify BCR operation and alignment

.Position the scanner head towards

the standard barcode label. Power on the ADP-232 and MS-5000
concentrator units if not already powered on.

From the Dos command prompt, type “alignbcr –a”. The bar code reader will
automatically start reading the bar code label and displaying the value it read
on the screen. Distance between the reader and the barcode will affect success.
Two inches distance is a good starting point. See

Figure 23

below.
