description also includes information on the following functions which set or query
frequency parameters individually:

Description
hpe1437_frequency_setup
sets the center frequency of a zoomed measurement. The
center of a frequency band of interest is converted to DC with this function. The
frequency transition is phase continuous unless the center frequency is set to zero in
which case the transition may be selected either to be phase continuous or phase reset.
This function may also be used to synchronously change frequency in multiple-module
systems.
Parameters
id
is the VXI instrument session pointer returned by the
hpe1437_init
function.
cmplxDc
selects either a phase continuous or phase reset transition when the
freq
= 0.
HPE1437_OFF
, combined with a frequency change to zero, causes phase to be reset to
zero.
HPE1437_ON
, combined with a frequency change to zero, does not reset the
phase, thereby generating a complex DC measurement at baseband. The state of this
parameter does not affect any transition where
freq
≠
0. Whether the real or complex
data is saved and ultimately sent to the output port is determined by the
hpe1437_data_type
function.
cmplxDcPtr
contains the value of the
cmplxDc
parameter.
