Control Bits
Eight Control bits are required to write to the test set.

Test Set Address
These two bits allow for up to 4 test sets to be addressed
from the parallel port connector of the network analyzer.
Test set addresses are set with a rear panel switch on the
test set. These 2 bits are ignored when the GPIB is used.
Not Used
This bit may be used for future customizing. It must be
set to zero.
REFLECTION/
TRANSMISSION
This bit selects which input port of the test set is to be
connected. When set to “0”,
reflection
is active. When the
bit is set to “1”,
transmission
is active.
Test Port Addresses
These 4 bits select which port of the test set is connected
to the active input port.
