4.
High reading check with the Victoreen 440RF (Or 450P).
4.1.
Select the five highest readings taken on the X-ray cabinet with the
Victoreen 290 or Radiation Alert® Inspector GM meter and quantify
them by measuring the X-ray emission on the corresponding spots of the
cabinet with the Victoreen 440RF. Record the Victoreen 440RF (Or
450P) readings on the appropriate figures.
4.2.
Turn off both test instruments.
4.3.
Record the final results of this test (see Form E7200-90026_1). Indicate
whether the X-ray cabinet passed or failed the test and write down the
maximum reading.
4.4.
Fill in all specific spaces in Form E7200-90026_1, sign the X-ray Safety
Test Report and forward to the Field Service Manager or if in plant the
Manufacturing Manager (include address) for approval. When complete,
store the report in the Agilent 5DX System Log Book.
Upon any rejection of a cabinet X-ray system, Production Engineering and
Production Management shall meet and review the inspection results. At that time,
the Production Engineer will address the recommend means and procedures to
bring the particular cabinet X-ray system into compliance as well as to prevent a
similar recurrence.
