5.4. Power supply
The codec operates from an external DC source, 8-18 V, 2 A maximum (

The ScoopTeam can operate from batteries (6 AA-size NiMH rechargeable batteries), providing a run
time of 2 hours minimum. A charger is included that charges the batteries when the external DC source
is connected.
