RECORDING DATA
3.17.1 Starting a Recording Session
NOTE:
A new recording cannot be started if the memory is full or if the Bluetooth
is active.
1.
Configure the instrument as described in section 3.4.
2.
Select the measurement function to be recorded using the rotary switch
and connect the instrument to the measurement source
3.
Press the REC button for >2s to start a recording.
4.
The REC indication will remain solid when there is available memory or
it will blink if the memory is full.
5.
If the memory is partially full then it is possible to start another
recording. The duration of the recording will depend on the available
memory.
3.17.2 Stopping a Recording Session
1.
Press and hold the REC button for >2s
2.
The REC indication will not be displayed if a recording is not active.

DOWNLOADING RECORDED DATA
Recorded measurements stored in the instrument are transferred to a computer
via the download command in the DataView
®
Control Panel.

ERASING DATA FROM MEMORY
Erasing data from the instrument’s memory can be performed in two ways.
Erasing the Memory using the
YELLOW button and rotary
switch:
1.
Turn the instrument “OFF”.
2.
Press and hold the YELLOW button while rotating the rotary switch to
the “
” position.
3.
Release the YELLOW button when
RST REC
is displayed to erase the
memory.
Erasing the Memory using the DataView
®
Control Panel:
1.
Connect the instrument to the computer and launch the Power Clamp
Meter Control Panel.
2.
Select View Recorded Data from the Instrument menu.
3.
In the “Recorded Data in Instrument” window, select the “Select All”
button and click on “Delete All” to erase the memory.
