WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM
DRIVE TIRE REMOVAL
WARNING!
Never work under a machine without safety block or stands to
support machine.
Disconnect battery before servicing.

Turn steering wheel to the right full lock position and also remove the
squeegee tool.

Disconnect the battery pack, set parking brake and block front
wheels.

See Figure 2.1. Loosen the (5)

Wheel Lug Nuts (use a 20mm
socket) while the wheel is on the ground.

Jack up machine until wheel clears the floor and place jack stands
under machine.

Remove the (5)
(A)
Wheel Lug Nuts and guide wheel out from under
machine.

Follow steps in reverse order to install new wheel. Torque spec 100
ft/lbs (135 N-m).
WHEEL DRIVE MOTOR REMOVAL

Follow the Solution Tank Removal Instructions in this manual.

Turn the Key Switch to the OFF position, set the Parking Brake
and disconnect the batteries.

See Figure 2.1. Mark and remove all (4) motor wiring cables.
4 NOTE:
Mark the position of both the drive motor and gearbox
for proper re-assembly.

Remove (1) Screw
(B)
and loosen the (2) Screws
(C)
holding
the drive motor together with the Gear Box
(D)
. Note: All three
screws are metric, use a 13-mm wrench.

Separate the Motor
(E)
from the Gearbox
(D)
.
7 NOTE:
Cover the gearbox opening with some suitable cover to
prevent contamination of the gearbox oil.

Re-assemble in reverse order. NOTE: The (2) Screws
(C)
and
the Screw
(B)
should be torqued to 17 ft/lbs.
