Compliance

ADTRAN HDSL4 modules are NRTL listed to the applicable UL standards. The HDSL4
modules are to be installed in a restricted access location and in a type “B” or “E” enclosure
only.
These devices comply with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two
conditions:

1. This device may not cause harmful interference.
2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause

undesired operation.

Changes or modifications not expressly approved by ADTRAN could void the user’s authority
to operate this equipment.

H4TU-C Compliance

shows the compliance codes for the H4TU-C modules.

The H4TU-C modules provide span powering voltage (negative only with respect to ground,
–190 VDC nominal, GFI protection <5 mA) and meets requirements of Bellcore GR-1089-
CORE (Class A2) and ANSI T1.418-2002.

H4TU-R Compliance

shows the compliance codes for the H4TU-R modules.

The H4TU-R modules must only be installed in shelves or mountings that utilize pin 27 of the
edge connector as a frame ground.
