IEC IP-65 Classification
The factory-installed IP-65 version provides an improved level of dust and water
protection. IP-65 means “dust-tight and protection against low pressure water jetting.”
• Dust Resistance - protection of the equipment inside the robot shell against ingress
of solid foreign objects
• Specifically for IP-65 Dust Protection - “No ingress of dust is allowed.”
• Water Resistance - protection of the equipment inside the robot shell against
harmful effects due to the ingress of water
• Specifically for IP-65 Water Protection - “Water projected in jets against the
robot enclosure from
any
direction shall have no harmful effects”

for access to the user connections, which are inside the outer link in the
IP-65 version.
