User Messages 

 

This option can be used to send personalized messages to individual users, who will be able 
to view them once they are authenticated at the ACTAtek3

TM

 unit.     

 

8.2.7.1. 

To Add a New Message: 

Click on “User Messages” under User Administration on the left column, the following screen 
should be displayed. 

 

Enter  the  User  ID  of  the  user  this  message  is  for,  and  enter  the  message  in  the  User 
Message  text  box.  Click  “Add”  to  send  the  message  to  the  user  or  “Reset”  to  abort  the 
message.    Please  ensure  that  the  message  does  not  contain  more  than  21  characters  per 
line, a maximum of 3 lines are accepted per message. 

 

Optionally, the message can either be displayed on the LCD screen of the ACTAtek3 or sent 
directly to their E-mail address, or both.
