Pattern (Tracking Parameter)
P a t t e r n L t - D k - L t Light-Dark-Light: This setting will cause the sensor to track
a dark line printed on a light background. This is the
default value.
P a t t e r n D k - L t - D k Dark-Light-Dark: This setting will cause the sensor to track
a light line printed on a dark background.
P a t t e r n L t - D k Light-Dark: This setting will cause the sensor to track the
left edge of a dark line or stripe printed on a light
background, or the right edge of a light line or stripe
printed on a dark background.

Dark-Light: This setting will cause the sensor to track the
right edge of a dark line or stripe printed on a light
background, or the left edge of a light line or stripe printed
on a dark background.
Scan Direction (Tracking Parameter)
S c a n D i r R - t o - L Right-to-Left: Scan the pattern from right to left. The
sensor will evaluate objects in its field of view beginning
with those on the far right.
This is the default value.
S c a n D i r L - t o - R Left-to-Right: Scan the pattern from left to right. The
sensor will evaluate objects in its field of view beginning
with those on the far left.
Maximum Left (Tracking Parameter)
M a x L e f t 2 5 5 This parameter specifies the maximum acceptable width of
the area located to the left of the registration line or edge.
The default value is 255.
Range: 0 to 255 half-pixels
Note: A setting of 255 disables this Min/Max rule.
Note: A “half-pixel” is equivalent to 0.0024” [0.062mm].
Minimum Left (Tracking Parameter)
M i n L e f t 0 This parameter specifies the minimum acceptable width of
the area located to the left of the registration line or edge.
The default value is 0.
Range: 0 to 255 half-pixels
Note: A setting of 0 disables this Min/Max rule.
Note: A “half-pixel” is equivalent to 0.0024” [0.062mm].
