Caution. Ensure that all connections, especially
to the earth stud, are made correctly – see Section 4.4.
Switch on the supply to the instrument, the input sensors and
any power-operated control circuits.
Information.
•
When powering the instrument from a d.c. supply, a
PSU with a minimum current rating of 3A is
recommended.
•
Ensure that the voltage supplied is above 10V. If a lower
voltage is used, the unit draws a higher current on
power-up. If necessary, fit a switch in the supply line
between the PSU and the instrument to ensure that the
PSU is at the correct voltage before powering the unit.
