6.1 Updating Firmware

MAINTENANCE

**Mac Note: On some Mac systems, you may get a permissions error when trying to run/install STM32CubePrg.

If you do:

• Control-click the ‘STM32CubeProgrammer’ app file, then choose “Show Package Contents.”

• Go to Contents -> MacOS.

• Control-click the file ‘SetupSTM32CubeProgrammer-2_7_0_macos’ -> Open.

Download the firmware file provided by A2Z Drone Delivery.

Download STM32 Cube Programmer: https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stm32cubeprog.html

Choose the correct version for your operating system, then follow he prompts.

Always install new firmware if there is a new version available.

Firmware updates will improve performance of the RDS2 or provide bug patches.
