OPERATION

 If you must abandon the payload for any reason, or the tether gets stuck on an obstacle, press FREEWHEEL, then 

slide FREEWHEEL at the top of the delivery menu to confirm. This will allow the tether to unspool from the RDS2, 

freeing the drone from any dangerous situations.

 DROPOFF is similar to REEL DOWN, with the major difference being that the payload will lower slightly above the 

ground, but not touching it. The pilot in command will then REEL UP the empty hook once the payload has been 

removed.

The LOCK button will

become active in the menu 

once FREEWHEEL has 

been confirmed. In this 

case, the winch will lock 

the spool and stop the 

tether from releasing. If the 

tether is still on the spool, 

REEL UP can be used to 

reel the hook back into the 

RDS2. 

Stop

The STOP button will

appear in the menu once 

DROPOFF has been 

confirmed. In this case, the 

tether will stop reeling 

down once STOP has been 

activated. To bring the hook 

back to the RDS2, REEL 

UP must be pressed.
