8 Accessories
8.1 Sweepings collector
An optional plastic sweeping collector is easily mounted by
pushing it onto the pins on the sweeping brush deck (see
Figure 3).
8.2 Snow chains and snow plow
For snow clearing, the street sweeper can be equipped with
snow chains and a snow plow.
8.3 Sweeping brushes for snow clearing
8×2 poly sweeping brushes are ideal for snow clearing, since
they absorb no water, and the bristles of the double row of
brushes provide extra support. This creates an additional
“throwing effect”.
9 Dealer
Your dealer will provide assistance with ordering of replacement
parts, with maintenance and repairs, and in case of any
problems or questions.
10 Batteries and charger
Your street sweeper is equipped with AGM batteries. These
batteries are hermetically sealed and require no maintenance.
They have
no
memory effect.
To get the maximum power and
service life from your batteries,the supplied
charger should
always be connected
, when the machine is not in use. After
fully charging the batteries, optimal maintenance charging is
automatically assured by the charger. When the batteries are
not being charged, the power consumption of the charger is
negligible.
Frequent discharge of the batteries reduces their life, and partial
discharge (e.g. from extended non-use without being connected
to the charger) generally causes irreversible damage to the
batteries.
Observe the information in the user’s manual for the charger
and retain it for future reference.
