4.2.3 Activation and deactivation of sweeping
brushes
CAUTION!
Danger of injury from falling when engaging the sweeping brush
drive.
When the sweeping brush drive is switched on, the street
sweeper moves toward the operator.
Therefore:
Be aware that the street sweeper will move toward you
when you switch on the brush drive!
Or push the steering bar of the street sweeper to the
ground so that the sweeping brushes are no longer in
contact with the ground.
Push down the red lever on the left steering bar grip (see
Figure 3) against the steering bar and hold it.
( The electric motor must be running ) The sweeping
brushes start rotating.
When you release the red lever, the sweeping brushes
stop.
4.2.4 Activation and deactivation of power drive
CAUTION!
Danger of injury from falling when engaging the power drive.
When engaging power drive, the machine starts moving
abruptly.
Therefore:
Be prepared for the abrupt forward movement of the street
sweeper.
Observe the requirements for operating personnel (see
section 1.4).
