Push down the red lever on the right steering bar grip (see
Figure 3)
The street sweeper starts moving.
Release the elver on the right steering bar grip.
The lever flips up and the street sweeper stops moving.
4.2.5 Overload protection of the operating circuit
4.2.6 Lateral adjustment of the sweeping brush
To sweep the sweepings to one side, the sweeping brush can
be set at an angle.
Raise the grip of the swivel support for the lateral
adjustment so that the locking plate unlocks from the
support lug (see Figure 3, page 16 and Figure 9, page 22).
Pull the grip of the swivel support back to sweep to the
right, or push it forward to sweep to the left.
Place the grip of the swivel support at the desired position
so that the locking plate locks into the support lug.
Operation
The operating circuit in this machine is switched with a load
relay. To protect the components the operating current is
limited with a thermoelectric overload cut-out. If the operating
current exceeds the maximum value of 40 Amp. for several
seconds, the electric motor switches off.
Eliminate the cause of the overload (e.g. if brush is jammed or
frozen to the ground). After about 10 - 20 seconds, push the pin
on the thermal cut-out (see Figure 3) back in and continue
working.
