Preparing Your Work Space
Comfortable Work Area
Select a comfortable work area with adequate space and lighting. Make sure that the area
is free of clutter and/or objects that could scratch the sensor and flat panel display. 3M
Touch Systems recommends an area of at least 25 square feet. You need this space to
handle components safely and to set major components aside during the installation.
ESD Workbench
A certified ESD workbench is recommended when working with electronics assemblies.
