VIEW OR CHANGE VALVE OUTPUTS
Use the Valves menu to view the status of valve
outputs, or to manually switch valve outputs off
or on.
The outputs on the Valves submenu (under the
Force Output menu) perform the BOS operations
below.
To view or change valve outputs on the Valves
menu:

From the Force Output menu, select Valves ,
then press .
The Valves menu appears.

From the Valves menu, select an valve
output; for example Air Cyl Valve , then press
.
BOS OUTPUT STATUS OPERATION
Air Cyl Valve
ON Opens the BOS’s air cylinder valve
OFF Closes the BOS’s air cylinder valve
IRS Pch Valve Horz
ON
Same as moving the operator panel rotary switch to RECYCLE
Opens the BOS’s horizontal IRS pinch valve on the used powder transport
line between BOS and IRS;
OFF
Same as moving the operator panel powder transport switch to OFF
Closes the BOS’s horizontal IRS pinch valve on the used powder transport
line between BOS and IRS
Dispose Pch Valv V
ON
Same as moving the operator panel rotary switch to DISPOSAL
Opens the BOS’s vertical dispose pinch valve on the used powder transport
line between BOS and waste powder drum.
OFF
Same as moving the rotary switch to OFF
Closes the BOS’s vertical Dispose pinch valve on the used powder transport
line between BOS and waste powder drum.
