Start the Chiller.
a
Press the power
(
I/O)
button on
the chiller front
panel.
b
Check chiller
COOLANT
INLET
pressure gauge at the SLS system
gauge panel. Verify coolant inlet pressure
of ~400 kPa (58 psi) on this gauge.
c
Check
COOLANT FLOW
meter on gauge
panel. Verify coolant flow of
4-5 lpm
.
5
Verify SLS system compressed air supply.
a
Verify that facility compressed air is on and
connected to the gauge panel
AIR INLET
.
b
Verify the readings for low air pressure,
high air pressure, and (for model 230 only)
RCM lift air pressure on the SLS system
gauge panel. The air pressure gauge labels
indicate their correct readings. These are:
6
Verify SLS system nitrogen supply.
L
Skip
Step a
if you have a nitrogen dewar or
bulk tank connected to your SLS system
instead of a nitrogen generator.
a
Open the compressed air supply valve at
the bottom of the N2 generator.
b
Make sure the
NITROGEN INLET
ball valve
on SLS system gauge panel is open.
c
Verify that the
REGULATED N2 PRESSURE
gauge on gauge panel reads
1
4
0 kPa
(
20
psi)
.
7
Verify the SLS system powder supply.
a
Open the
POWDER INLET
ball valve at the
SLS system gauge panel.
b
Verify that the lower and upper powder
level sensor lights on the Hopper Feed
Module are both on.
For chiller instructions,
see the separate
Chiller
Installation, Operations,
and Maintenance Guide
that came with your
system.
