Work Environment

WORK CONFIGURATION

The 3DP1000 is capable of carrying out the additive 
manufacturing process under open source controls, 
via 3D model output in the .gcode format. The printer 
can be operated using the USB computer interface or 
independently with the LCD control unit with SD card slot. 
The heated print bed is controlled independently.
Files can be processed on any workstation and .gcode 
delivered to the printer via SD card.

Extreme heat, humidity, blowing vents, and/or fans can 
adversely affect the print quality of the 3DP1000. The 
printer should be located in a controlled temperature 
environment with an ambient operating temperature in 
the range of 15° - 32°C (60° - 90°F).

surrounding the 3DP1000 workstation. 

WORKSTATION REQUIREMENTS

The 3DP1000 utilizes open source controls. Computer/
workstation requirements are dependent on the software 
choice of the operator.
