V6100 and V7122 User Guide
WARNING:
Before installing the V6100 OSN Server modules, ensure that the V6100 is
disconnected from the power supply
To install the CM module, follow these 5 steps:

Place the V6100, so that the front panel is facing you, as shown in
Figure 149
.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the black metal cover plate from the slot below the
module labeled CPU, as shown in
Figure 149
.

Insert the CM module in the slot below the CPU, with the plain side of the Printed Circuit
Board (PCB) facing up. Make sure the PCB slides into the slot rails. (As the slot rails are
not easily visible, it is important to align the CM with the rails in the slot, before sliding it
in).
